TrafficStars sells popunder, banner, native, video and push inventory across its publisher sites, and every site is split into separate ad spots. Appending its macros stamps each visit with the site and ad spot that loaded it, so ValidVisit can attribute every visit to that exact inventory unit and judge it Valid or Invalid, with its evidence.
Cross-check any macro against the network’s official documentation. TrafficStars official docs →
TrafficStars documents its tokens in its own FAQ, all in lowercase curly braces. {click_id} is the required one: a randomly generated id per click that TrafficStars also uses for server-to-server conversion tracking, so ValidVisit can tie a visit back to a single click. {campaign_id} is required too and keeps visits grouped by campaign, with {campaign} adding its readable name. The two that matter for invalid traffic are {site_id}, the publisher site, and {adspot_id}, the ad spot on that site, which is TrafficStars' word for a zone. {creative_id} and {keywords} add the creative and any keywords collected when you want that detail. These are plain URL parameters on your landing page link, so there is no extra hop: TrafficStars fills each one in at click time.
The ad spot is where the action is. A popunder is triggered by the visitor's click, scroll or similar gesture on the publisher's page, not by a click on your ad, and TrafficStars itself says popunder campaigns may attract more bot traffic than some other formats. With {adspot_id} on every visit, ValidVisit reports an invalid share per spot, and you can drop the bad spots while keeping the rest of that publisher. The verdict blocks nothing and ValidVisit never changes a TrafficStars campaign. You add the flagged ad spots and sites to the campaign's Blacklist in the Audience step yourself, or let TrafficStars' Optimizer do it against rules you set.

The buyer adds the bad ad spot IDs and site IDs to the campaign’s Blacklist in the Audience step (or sets Optimizer rules that auto-block spots crossing spend/conversion thresholds).
{click_id} and {campaign_id} are required. For invalid-traffic analysis add {site_id} and {adspot_id}: together they name the publisher and the exact ad spot, which is the level you blacklist at.
It is the individual placement on a publisher site, what other networks call a zone. TrafficStars passes it as {adspot_id}, and it is usually the fastest way to find where invalid traffic concentrates inside a publisher.
In the campaign's Audience step, add the ad spots and sites to its Blacklist, or set an Optimizer rule. A Prime campaign can blacklist spots but not sites. ValidVisit never edits your TrafficStars campaigns; the exclusion is always yours to make.
