Terms of Service

Last updated: July 1, 2026

These terms govern your use of ValidVisit. ValidVisit is in early access, so both the product and these terms may change as it matures. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to the terms below.

1. The service

ValidVisit is a traffic-quality intelligence service. You add a lightweight tag to your site, and we score your paid clicks 0–100 and attribute invalid traffic to the campaigns, publishers and placements that sent it. The service is provided for detection, scoring and reporting; it does not itself block, exclude, or take action on your ad platforms.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate account information and are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. You must be able to form a binding contract to use the service, and you may not use it if you are barred from doing so under applicable law.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any third party’s rights.
  • Deploy the tag on sites or properties you don’t control or lack permission to instrument.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, probe, or circumvent the detection model, or interfere with the service’s operation or security.
  • Resell or provide access to the service in a way not permitted by your plan.

4. Your data and the tag

You are responsible for having the right to deploy the tag on your sites and for meeting your own privacy obligations to your visitors (for example, any notices or consents your jurisdiction requires). For the data we process on your behalf, and how we protect it, see the privacy policy and security pages. You retain ownership of your data; you grant us the limited license needed to process it to provide and improve the service.

5. Plans, billing and cancellation

Paid plans are billed through our payment provider, Paddle, on the cycle shown at checkout. Early-access pricing may be introductory and subject to change with notice. You can cancel at any time; cancellation stops future renewals, and paid periods already started are generally non-refundable except where required by law. A free trial may be offered on paid plans; any trial terms are shown at signup.

6. Scoring is a signal, not a guarantee

Traffic-quality scores are probabilistic judgments built from many data points. They are a strong, auditable signal — not a warranty that any given click is or isn’t fraudulent, and not a guarantee of ad-platform credits, refunds, or outcomes. ValidVisit does not provide legal or financial advice, and its output is not a substitute for your own review. Features described as planned or on our roadmap (such as automated platform exclusion) are not current commitments and may change.

7. Intellectual property

ValidVisit, including the service, the detection model, and all related software and content, is and remains our property. These terms don’t grant you any rights in it beyond the right to use the service under your plan.

8. Third-party services

The service works alongside third parties you choose — ad networks, your payment provider, and others. We aren’t responsible for those services, and your use of them is governed by their own terms.

9. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don’t warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will detect all invalid traffic.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ValidVisit will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data. Our total liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

11. Termination

You may stop using the service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or use the service in a way that risks harm to others or to the service. On termination, your right to use the service ends; sections that by their nature should survive (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive.

12. Changes and contact

We may update the service and these terms; the “last updated” date above reflects the current version, and material changes will be communicated where reasonable. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. Questions can be sent to legal@validvisit.com.
