Bot traffic detection for agencies

Your clients ask where their budget went, and “the platform says it’s fine” is a weak answer. Independent per-visit verdicts give you a defensible one — per account, per source.

01 / THE PROBLEM

You already know this.

  • Every account is graded on its own platform’s homework, with one aggregate line to show for it.
  • Client trust hinges on proving spend reached real people, not automation.
  • Managing traffic quality across many accounts and networks by hand doesn’t scale.
02 / WHAT YOU GET

Every visit judged, and the source behind it.

Detect, judge and attribute — with the evidence to act. The verdict never touches your traffic and we never claim recovered dollars; you see what’s real and decide what to cut.

  • One transparent verdict per visit, with its evidence — per client, per source — produced independently of the ad platform.
  • Audit-ready evidence for client reporting and for network exclusion requests, with the source attribution attached.
  • Per-site isolation: each client’s traffic, verdicts and settings stay their own.
03 / HOW IT FITS

How ValidVisit fits the way agencies work.

The agency problem

Agencies sit between the ad networks and the client, and both sides create pressure:

  • Many accounts, many networks. Google, Meta, native, push and more across a portfolio, and bot traffic looks different on each, so no single platform’s view covers the book.
  • You have to defend the spend. A client with flat conversions wants to know why, and platform-reported metrics are the thing they already distrust.
  • Retention runs on transparency. The agency that shows where the waste is before the client asks has a better renewal conversation than the one explaining it afterwards.

How it fits an agency workflow

Each client site gets its own lightweight script and its own isolated site in ValidVisit. Visits are judged Valid or Invalid and attributed across every network the client runs, using each network’s own tracking tokens (per-network token directory), so bot traffic is pinned to the publisher, placement, campaign or zone that sent it.

Because the verdict is independent of the ad platforms, the numbers you show a client aren’t the platform marking its own homework. And because ValidVisit never writes to ad accounts, a client’s campaigns change only when you change them: no automated changes you have to explain later.

A report a client can read

Clients don’t want a model; they want to know what they paid for. Keep the monthly story simple:

  1. The share of paid visits that were Valid and Invalid, per network.
  2. The sources driving the Invalid share, worst-first, from the Cut list export.
  3. What you did about it: the placements you excluded, the budget you moved, the credit you requested where the network offers one (refunds by network).
  4. Next month’s read on the same sources, so the client sees the change for themselves rather than taking your word for it.

Every verdict comes with evidence in your dashboard, so when a client or a network rep asks why a source was cut, you have more than a hunch.

Pricing across a portfolio

Plans are billed on visits judged, not on the client’s ad spend, so a client raising budget doesn’t raise your bill by itself. See pricing.

Clients reading their first traffic-quality report will meet terms like IVT, sub-source and zone. The glossary is a good page to send them.

Questions, answered.

Is the data separated per client?+
Yes — every site is isolated. A client’s visits, verdicts and settings never mix with another’s, and access is scoped per workspace.
Can I use the evidence in client reports?+
That’s a core use. Verdicts and source attribution export as plain rows, with evidence in your dashboard behind each one, so a report shows what was real rather than a platform’s self-graded total.
Does ValidVisit change anything in my clients’ ad accounts?+
No. It never writes to an ad account, never excludes a placement and never pauses a campaign. It judges visits and shows where bot traffic concentrates; every change stays with you, inside each platform.
How does this help client retention?+
It turns an awkward conversation (“why are conversions flat?”) into a proactive one: you show independent evidence of where bot traffic concentrates and what you did about it. Measurement the client can’t get from the platforms themselves is a reason to stay.
Which networks does it cover?+
Search, social, native, push, pop and banner: UTM plus a directory of 48 ad-network tracking tokens. Browse the token directory.
