ValidVisit judges every Clickadu visit Valid or Invalid and pins it to the zone that sent it, worst first.
zone in ClickaduThe buyer pastes their black/white list of zone IDs into the Sites&Zones ("Zone Limitation") field on the Zones & Additional page and flips the Exclude tumbler so the campaign stops serving on those zones.
Clickadu is a self-serve network for popunder, banners, in-page push, video pre-roll and other formats, with a $100 minimum deposit and manual moderation that usually takes 15–30 minutes. It says a machine-learning algorithm filters poor-quality traffic, and its targeting includes proxy and Apple Relay options, but its terms make its own statistics prevail, give you three days to dispute and leave fraud decisions to its sole discretion, so read visits per zone and exclude the weak ones. We don’t run Clickadu campaigns ourselves; the facts below are Clickadu’s own pages.

Clickadu sells banner, popunder, in-page push, instant text message, video pre-roll and SKIM traffic through a self-serve platform. Its popunder loads under the main active window or tab after a click on the publisher’s page and goes unnoticed until that window or tab is closed. Popunder is bought on CPM, SmartCPM or SmartCPA, so on the first two you pay per impression rather than per result, and a campaign total says nothing about which publisher zone delivered what. Clickadu passes the originating zone through its {zoneid} macro, which turns an otherwise opaque volume channel into a ranked list of zones you can review.
Clickadu has described its own defences in some detail. In a 2020 blog post it said it works with direct websites only, that each publisher has to add a website and prove ownership, and that every user passing through its ad server goes through 46 algorithm checks, among them screen resolution and device matching and browser language matching. It does not publish the full list of checks, and it does not share its publishers’ sources. What reaches you as a buyer is the zone ID.
That makes {zoneid} the level at which you can check the result yourself. Every visit that lands on your page is judged Valid or Invalid and filed under the zone that sent it, so you can tell a zone with a consistently high invalid share apart from the rest of the campaign. Clickadu also offers Proxy, Not proxy and All in campaign targeting; ‘Not proxy’ limits delivery to first-hand IP addresses, which is worth setting deliberately before you read the zone breakdown.
Rank your active zones by invalid share using the {zoneid} token. Excluding the zones at the top of that ranking lifts traffic quality without cutting volume across the board — and without sacrificing an entire geo.
Use the {campaignid} token alongside {zoneid} to track whether a campaign’s zone pool drifts over time. On CPC and SmartCPA campaigns Clickadu runs a testing period in which various traffic sources are tried to find the zones that perform best, and its ‘Test impression limit per zone’ option drops zones that bring no click or conversion after a set number of impressions — so the zone mix moves without any change on your side. Re-rank the invalid share whenever it does.

Clickadu is a working self-serve network with published terms, a help center and manual moderation. Its own statistics prevail and disputes are due within three days, so judge visits per zone yourself and raise problems with your account manager quickly.
In the campaign form’s Zones & Additional tab. Paste the invalid zone IDs into the Sites&Zones (Zone Limitation) field and flip the Include/Exclude switcher to Exclude — it turns red when set — so the campaign stops serving on those zones. You can also exclude from the Dashboard: expand the campaign’s stats, tick the zones and click Exclude Zones. Clickadu notes you may still receive some traffic from an excluded zone for the next 30 minutes.
{zoneid} and {campaignid} — is one more useful than the other for IVT analysis? For diagnosing traffic quality, {zoneid} is the primary dimension. Clickadu defines it as the ID of the ad zone where the ad is displayed, and the zone is the unit its Zone Limitation field takes. {campaignid} is useful for working out which of your campaigns is drawing from a particularly rough zone pool, and for separating zone-driven problems from ones that reflect targeting or landing-page factors. The actionable exclusion unit, though, is always the zone.
{zoneid} (the ad zone where the ad was displayed), {campaignid}, {bannerid} for the specific creative served, and ${SUBID}, Clickadu’s per-click ID used for S2S postback tracking.
Clickadu applies platform-level filtering across its whole network: it lists fraud and bot filters built on a machine-learning algorithm, and in 2020 it described 46 checks on every user passing its ad server. It does not publish the full list of those checks, so as an advertiser you can’t see what was filtered or which zones were affected. Verdicts tied to {zoneid} answer a different question: which sub-sources inside Clickadu’s delivery are polluting your conversion and optimization data.
