03 / TRADE-OFFS

Where Adscore is stronger.

A classification engine priced per impression that you can wire into your own flow, including active filtering that sends bad traffic to a honeypot before your page loads.

Neither tool pushes exclusions into your ad platforms for you. Where they differ is coverage and evidence: ValidVisit adds native/push/pop attribution and a verdict on every visit, with its evidence in your dashboard.

04 / IN DEPTH

ValidVisit vs Adscore, in depth.

Adscore is a traffic-quality engine built by the team behind the PopAds ad network. It sorts each hit into human, proxy, low quality (an obsolete device or browser) or bot, and it is sold to advertisers, ad networks and publishers alike, to check the quality of traffic that is bought or sold. It says it protects over 1B impressions a day. That supply-side pedigree shapes the product: Adscore is infrastructure you wire into your own flow, from a passive JavaScript tag to active filtering that sends good traffic to your page and bad traffic to a honeypot before the page loads. ValidVisit is a finished product for the buyer. One script on your landing page judges each paid visit Valid or Invalid and attributes it to the campaign, publisher, zone or widget that sent it, using the ad network’s own tracking tokens. The verdict never blocks; traffic rules you set tag or send away visitors by country, data-center hosting or VPN, and can block whole countries at your own firewall.

A traffic-quality engine vs a finished source report

Adscore’s output is a verdict per hit: human, proxy, low quality or bot, delivered through its JavaScript tag or its API, with technical documentation for developers. What happens next is yours to design. An ad network can gate publisher payouts on it, a publisher can check what it sells, an advertiser can filter or log. If you have engineers and want a classification to wire into your own systems, that is the right shape.

ValidVisit does the downstream work for a media buyer. Every visit is judged Valid or Invalid and filed under the source the network names in its own tokens: a zone on PropellerAds, a widget on MGID, a site on Taboola. The dashboard ranks those sources worst-first, with evidence in your dashboard behind each verdict, so the output is a cut-list you can paste into the network’s blocklist the same day. Blocking bad sources by network shows where each list goes.

The trade-off is build versus buy. Adscore gives you a verdict to build on. ValidVisit gives you the report already built, and less room to change it if you want something it does not do.

Filtering in front of the page vs judging on it

Adscore lists seven ways to integrate. Several put it in front of your page: showing your page inside an iframe on Adscore’s own domain, passing the visitor through Adscore’s servers before your page, and active filtering, which sends good traffic to your landing page and bad traffic to a honeypot URL. Others are passive: a JavaScript tag that reports while traffic always reaches your page, a JavaScript API, and a CDN integration that protects a whole site. If you want bots stopped before your landing page loads, Adscore can do that and ValidVisit does not.

ValidVisit adds nothing to the click path. The verdict judges the visit on arrival and blocks nothing; it tells you which sources to cut. For traffic you already know you never want, traffic rules act. Name countries, data-center hosting connections or VPN connections, and every match is tagged and counted. You can have matched visitors sent to another page once the page has loaded. For countries, the settings page also writes a firewall rule you paste into your own CDN or firewall to block them outright, plus the country list for Google Ads and Microsoft Ads location exclusions. Every plan includes them.

The split is deliberate. Blunt rules act on what you named; the verdict stays evidence, so a source is never cut by a threshold you did not choose.

CPM on impressions vs a monthly plan on visits

Adscore publishes CPM pricing on impressions per day (checked September 2026): $0.15 CPM below 100k impressions a day, $0.10 from 100k, $0.05 from 1M and $0.01 from 10M, and it moves you to the cheaper tier automatically as daily volume grows. Its free trial covers up to 33K impressions, with no credit card. At the entry rate, a million analysed impressions in a month costs $150; at network scale the unit price is hard to beat, which suits the ad networks it was built for.

ValidVisit bills a flat monthly plan on visits judged: $59, $99 and from $299 a month. Every plan has the full engine, source attribution and traffic rules, and plans differ by visits, sites and data retention, as the pricing page shows.

To compare fairly, ask Adscore how your landing-page visits map to its impressions, then price both on your own monthly volume.

FAQ

Common questions.

Who is behind Adscore?+
Adscore says it was created by the team behind the PopAds.net ad network, after running that network for more than a decade and fighting fraud there first-hand. It is sold to advertisers, ad networks and publishers, and RichAds cites Adscore verification for its own traffic. ValidVisit is built for the buying side only: it judges the visits you pay for and attributes each one to the source that sent it.
Can Adscore stop bots before they reach my landing page?+
Yes, if you choose one of its in-path integrations: active filtering analyses the visit first, then sends good traffic to your landing page and bad traffic to a honeypot URL. ValidVisit does not sit in front of your page. Its traffic rules act once the page has loaded, sending visitors you named to another page, and whole countries can be blocked at your own firewall with the rule it writes.
How do Adscore’s verdicts compare with ValidVisit’s verdict?+
Adscore returns a category per hit: human, proxy, low quality or bot. ValidVisit returns a Valid or Invalid verdict per visit, with its evidence, attributed to the publisher, zone or widget that sent it. A category is easy to act on in code; a verdict sorted by source is easier to review by hand.
Can I use Adscore and ValidVisit together?+
Yes. If Adscore filters in front of your page, ValidVisit judges what reaches it and files each visit under its source, an independent read of what the filter lets through. Keep the network’s tracking tokens in the URL that finally lands, so attribution survives the extra step. ValidVisit never writes to your ad accounts and never files refund claims, so it adds a report, not a second set of actions.
