How to blacklist bad sites and zones in ExoClick

ExoClick gives advertisers granular control: you can blacklist individual site and zone IDs right in the campaign. Here's how to find which ones to block.

1. Find the bad sites and zones

ExoClick exposes both a site id and a zone id on each click. ValidVisit scores every click 0–100 and breaks the invalid-traffic rate down by site and zone, so the specific sites/zones concentrating bots surface immediately.

2. Blacklist them in ExoClick

In the ExoClick campaign settings, open Sites & Zones and add the flagged site/zone IDs to the blacklist (you can also blacklist by category or keyword). Save, and ExoClick stops serving on them. Zone-level blocking lets you keep a site while cutting a single bad zone on it.

What ValidVisit does and doesn't do

ValidVisit scores the traffic and gives you the site/zone IDs to exclude; you apply the blacklist in ExoClick. Report-only, independent evidence — you stay in control of the account.

FAQ

Where is the blacklist in ExoClick?+
In the campaign settings under Sites & Zones — add the site or zone IDs you want excluded (category and keyword blocks are available there too).
Site vs zone — which should I block?+
Block a zone to cut a single bad placement while keeping the rest of a site; block a site to remove the whole publisher. ValidVisit scores both levels so you can choose the most surgical option.
